Founder/Executive Director
Algrish Williams, Sr.
Algrish Williams, Sr., is a U.S. Army veteran, corporate leader, and author who founded the Williams Leadership Consulting and the Williams Education Foundation. Drawing from his journey from military service to corporate leadership, Algrish is passionate about authentic leadership, supporting veterans in their career transitions, and empowering educators. Through his work, he inspires others to find purpose, build meaningful connections, and give back to their communities.

Dr. Monica T. Adams
Dr. Monica T. Adams, a proud graduate of Richland County School District One and W.J. Keenan High School, has devoted 32 years to education. She earned her B.S. in Elementary Education and later her Doctorate in Educational Administration from South Carolina State University, along with advanced degrees from Cambridge College and Converse College.
Dr. Adams began her career teaching 3rd–5th grade before moving into school leadership, serving 19 years as a teacher, 6 years as an assistant principal, and the last 7 years as principal of Carver-Lyon Elementary School. A recognized transformational leader, she has received multiple honors including National Board Certification, Social Studies Distinguished Teacher of the Year, Teacher of the Year, and a nomination for Magnet School Principal of the Year.
Married to her high school sweetheart and mother of three sons who all graduated from District One, Dr. Adams leads with the belief that “students don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.”

Michelle Evans
Michelle Evans is an educational leader dedicated to creating opportunities that help students see beyond their present and step confidently into their future. She holds degrees in Early Childhood and Elementary Education, Curriculum and Instruction, and Educational Leadership, along with a Literacy Coaching endorsement and advanced leadership training.
Michelle began her career as a first-grade teacher in Sumter and Richland Two before becoming one of South Carolina’s first Reading Coaches under the Read to Succeed Act. She served eight years in this role, mentoring teachers and strengthening literacy across the school community.
Today, she is the Assistant Principal at Killian Elementary, where she remains committed to empowering students, supporting educators, and fostering a culture of excellence.

Agnes Nicole Knox
Agnes Nicole Knox is an educator, minister, and leadership consultant dedicated to strengthening the teaching profession and expanding access to transformative learning experiences for all students. As the founder of Legacy Learning & Empowerment LLC, she leads coaching and consulting initiatives that support confident, empowered educators and learners. Her commitment to excellence has earned her recognition, including the 2019 Teacher of the Year award and a spot on the Top 5 District Honor Roll in Richland School District Two. A respected speaker and mentor, she continues to elevate the voices of educators through statewide empowerment events and community-rooted leadership. Agnes brings to the Williams Education Foundation Board a powerful blend of instructional expertise, faith-driven service, and a steadfast belief in the life-changing impact of thriving school communities.

Jamaal W. Perry
Jamaal W. Perry was born and raised in Columbia, SC. He is a proud graduate of South Carolina State University in Orangeburg, SC, and also holds a Master’s Degree from Webster University. He is married and the father of three children: Karrington, Logan, and Landon.
Jamaal currently works at the South Carolina Department of Education as a Grant Manager for the 21st Century Community Learning Centers grant, where he ensures the proper use of this federally funded after-school program.
As the son of a retired educator, he believes strongly in ensuring that teachers have access to the resources they need to provide a world-class education for all students.

Kwantesia V. Williams
Kwantesia V. Williams serves as the Marketing and Media Relations Lead for the Williams Education Foundation, where she leads the organization’s communications, branding, and digital engagement efforts. With a strong passion for storytelling and community impact, she works to elevate the foundation’s mission, highlight educator achievements, and strengthen connections with supporters. Her creative approach and commitment to educational advancement help drive awareness and support for the foundation’s initiatives.
